You know, Judas in "Heaven on Their Minds" is -- is asking questions of Jesus and His people. You know, he's asking, "Where are we going as a community? What are we becoming?" Questions about faith, community, revolution. Judas says, "All your followers are blind. Too much heaven on their minds. And it's beautiful, but now it's sour." You know, it's asking the big questions. You know, "Does God bring us together or does God tear us apart?" In "Heaven Help Us All," Stevie Wonder's asking that question, as well -- "Can God save us? Can we save ourselves?" "Heaven help the boy who won't reach 21. Heaven help the man who gave that boy a gun. Heaven help the people with their backs against the wall. Lord, heaven help us all." Stevie's is a plea. And with Marvin Gaye, well, he had his own struggles with heaven and hell.
