I m a little star geek and I m not a lout.

This is my handle, this is my spout.

If you look to the South you ll see me shout!

The stars will tip me over and pour me out!

Trace here -- star gazers and this week you
can spot the infamous asterism of a Teapot

in the southern sky!

The first thing you re going to spot is
Jupiter -- it s SO BRIGHT right now.

And in fact, if you look just a bit to the
right of Jupe, you might see the ringed planet

of Saturn!

Either way, down and to the right of Jupiter
is a set of four very faint stars, and that

is the handle of our Teapot.

I ll just draw it up here for ya .

BOOM!

With a little imagination, you can enjoy watching
it pour tea on the tail of Scorpius the Scorpion.

If you re somewhere REALLY dark, the spout
of our Teapot aligns with the Milky Way, which

is excellent because unlike Captain Picard
I take milk in my tea.

Make some Earl Grey, Hot and pop outside so
you can Keep Lookin up!
