Hey there star friends! What s better than
star gazing han solo? Star gazing with friends!

Maybe you re on a video call with a friend
down the street, or spending time outside

with friends -- why not look up? This week I ve
got two things to point out to star newbies:

First: Look West anytime after sunset
later this week and watch Moon do a lil

scoochie with Mars (what astronomers call
a conjunction). On Friday the moon will

lead Mars in their path across the sky,
then on Saturday Mars takes the lead!

And second: Turn from Mars to the North or
right of Mars and the moon, and you should

see a giant W in the sky -- that s Cassiopeia! Her
upside-down throne is one of my favorites to spot.

And if that s not enough: Next week
is a GREAT Lyrid Meteor shower too,

so grab a nerdy friend and together (even
physically distant) you can keep lookin up!
