--> 07:48.664 Probably the best thing I did. 07:48.664 --> 07:51.431 Because my assisstants told me we need to practice. 07:51.431 --> 07:52.431 And they were right. 07:52.431 --> 07:54.631 And we practiced and we had a great practice on Friday, 07:54.631 --> 07:55.798 great practice on Saturday. 07:55.798 --> 07:57.798 Gave them the day off on Sunday and the day of selection on 07:57.798 --> 07:58.798 Sunday. 07:58.798 --> 08:00.798 And then we've had good practice this week. 08:00.798 --> 08:02.798 Hopefully ready to go for it tomorrow. 08:02.798 --> 08:04.798 They need to buy in to it that it was an anomaly, 08:04.798 --> 08:05.798 that it was very rare. 08:05.798 --> 08:07.798 It was just one of those things and we're gonna be ready. 08:07.798 --> 08:09.798 Well the other thing -- I think people in Memphis, 08:09.798 --> 08:11.331 Tiger nation.. 08:11.331 --> 08:13.331 I think because we've had so much. 08:13.331 --> 08:16.331 And we've had a great regular season, Greg. 08:16.331 --> 08:17.331 I don't want to take away. 08:17.331 --> 08:19.331 We've had a very good regular season. 08:19.331 --> 08:21.331 And we had a bad game versus U-Conn in that conference 08:21.331 --> 08:22.331 tournament. 08:22.331 --> 08:25.931 But also, I think some of that because of the U-Conn -- that 08:25.931 --> 08:27.598 dud, as you called it. 08:27.598 --> 08:29.631 And I called it a stinker. 08:29.631 --> 08:33.531 I think because we've had some of those games where it kind of 08:33.531 --> 08:35.531 avalanched on us throughout the year, 08:35.531 --> 08:36.698 some of our losses. 08:36.698 --> 08:38.931 And so I think that bothers people. 08:38.931 --> 08:41.898 And that's just somewhat of a make up of our team, two things. 08:41.898 --> 08:43.898 One -- we haven't done a great job. 08:43.898 --> 08:46.198 We've gotten better but when it's kind of gone south, 08:46.198 --> 08:47.498 we haven't stopped it. 08:47.498 --> 08:49.498 It's gone south and south and south. 08:49.498 --> 08:50.898 On the other hand, we are. 08:50.898 --> 08:53.898 And because of how it's gone south because we haven't scored 08:53.898 --> 08:57.498 meaning that we're a team, because of whatever it is.. 08:57.498 --> 08:59.564 Usually teams want to be a defensive identity. 08:59.564 --> 09:01.564 We're really an offensive identity. 09:01.564 --> 09:02.564 And we are best when we score. 09:02.564 --> 09:04.698 And when we're not scoring for whatever it with our team.. 09:04.698 --> 09:05.698 They get down. 09:05.698 --> 09:06.698 We just don't. 09:06.698 --> 09:08.498 And it's hard for us to stop. 09:08.498 --> 09:11.131 We've done some games where we've stopped the avalanche. 09:11.131 --> 09:14.031 But there's been other games where it's just gone south. 09:14.031 --> 09:16.364 And part of that is everyone talks defense, 09:16.364 --> 09:17.364 defense. 09:17.364 --> 09:18.364 No. 09:18.364 --> 09:20.364 It's because when we're not making shots, 09:20.364 --> 09:21.364 we're missing lay-ups. 09:21.364 --> 09:22.364 We're missing freethrows. 09:22.364 --> 09:24.364 It just sucks the life out of us on the defensive end. 09:24.364 --> 09:25.364 Snowballs. 09:25.364 --> 09:27.364 That's just our make up of our team. 09:27.364 --> 09:29.364 And again, people might not like it. 09:29.364 --> 09:31.831 And I took criticism and it can go to me. 09:31.831 --> 09:33.131 But that's what our.. 09:33.131 --> 09:36.431 That is what our personalities and the personnel with our team 09:36.431 --> 09:37.431 for this year.. 09:37.431 --> 09:39.131 That's kind of where it's at. 09:39.131 --> 09:41.831 And we are third in the country in assists. 09:41.831 --> 09:44.031 But again, if we can start scoring, 09:44.031 --> 09:46.031 you know a lot of that stuff gets, 09:46.031 --> 09:48.031 you know, washed under and we're able to win games. 09:48.031 --> 09:51.198 One more quick thing on the conference tournament. 09:51.198 --> 09:53.198 And this is beyond your control. 09:53.198 --> 09:55.198 Obviously you have the decision to make. 09:55.198 --> 09:57.198 It's coming back to Memphis next season. 09:57.198 --> 09:59.798 Do you believe this tournament will come back with the Tigers 09:59.798 --> 10:01.198 falling in the quarters? 10:01.198 --> 10:03.198 The crowds weren't as big as they expect. 10:03.198 --> 10:05.198 Do you think it'll be back at FedEx Forum? 10:05.198 --> 10:07.198 I think that we lost in the quarter finals. 10:07.198 --> 10:09.198 The teams won't be so upset about, 10:09.198 --> 10:11.698 you know, The other coaches will be okay with us. 10:11.698 --> 10:12.864 Bring it back to Memphis! 10:12.864 --> 10:14.564 So you know I don't know. 10:14.564 --> 10:16.131 I think we'll be back. 10:16.131 --> 10:18.131 I don't think it'll be back after '15. 10:18.131 --> 10:20.131 But I do think it will be back for '15. 10:20.131 --> 10:22.131 And then I think we'll be somewhere else at '16. 10:22.131 --> 10:24.131 David Pellom, one of the seniors, 10:24.131 --> 10:25.898 one of the six that you have. 10:25.898 --> 10:29.498 Actually, we saw seven on senior day. 10:29.498 --> 10:32.398 But six active players played at G-W. 10:32.398 --> 10:34.398 Obviously he was injured and did not play last year. 10:34.398 --> 10:36.831 Can you learn something from Pellom talking about his old 10:36.831 --> 10:37.831 team? 10:37.831 --> 10:39.831 Yeah, I'm sure you can learn somethings, 10:39.831 --> 10:41.831 maybe the nature of what Coach likes to do and things like 10:41.831 --> 10:42.831 that. 10:42.831 --> 10:44.831 But you know I've had a lot of people text me through the week. 10:44.831 --> 10:46.831 Hey, do you know all their calls? 10:46.831 --> 10:48.831 Do you know what they're going to do? 10:48.831 --> 10:49.831 This is a different team. 10:49.831 --> 10:50.831 I mean.. 10:50.831 --> 10:51.831 Horrible change in knowing. 10:51.831 --> 10:52.831 But we don't know. 10:52.831 --> 10:53.831 You know we're not gonna. 10:53.831 --> 10:55.831 He doesn't have all their calls. 10:55.831 --> 10:57.831 And people change year-by-year on what they call stuff. 10:57.831 --> 10:59.331 But we got to watch films. 10:59.331 --> 11:02.098 And again, Greg, I believe this. 11:02.098 --> 11:04.098 Basketball is so much different than football. 11:04.098 --> 11:06.431 Football -- so much of it, you can have strategy. 11:06.431 --> 11:09.198 And you have a week to prepare break downs and all these. 11:09.198 --> 11:11.198 I think basketball, you are who you are. 11:11.198 --> 11:14.464 And again, you're not gonna change a bunch of things. 11:14.464 --> 11:16.464 We got to play how we got to play. 11:16.464 --> 11:18.464 And like I said, we're a little bit offensive minded. 11:18.464 --> 11:19.464 And we've got to make shots. 11:19.464 --> 11:21.464 And if we make shots, we got a great chance of winning the 11:21.464 --> 11:22.464 game. 11:22.464 --> 11:24.464 Who is the single most important player for you guys? 11:24.464 --> 11:25.464 No question. 11:25.464 --> 11:26.464 It's not one. 11:26.464 --> 11:27.464 It's two. 11:27.464 --> 11:29.464 It's Joe Jackson and Chris Crawford. 11:29.464 --> 11:31.464 And if they're in a daze and not playing well, 11:31.464 --> 11:33.464 just pack the airplane up and we'll head home. 11:33.464 --> 11:35.764 If they're both at a high level, we've got a great chance in 11:35.764 --> 11:36.764 advancing. 11:36.764 --> 11:38.764 We've seen them both in high levels at times, 11:38.764 --> 11:41.564 a lot of times more at a high level than not. 11:41.564 --> 11:43.498 But when they're not, it hurts. 11:43.498 --> 11:45.498 And that's also a snowball effect. 11:45.498 --> 11:46.498 Let me ask you this. 11:46.498 --> 11:47.498 They have not. 11:47.498 --> 11:50.831 You really don't have this big vocal guy on the court, 11:50.831 --> 11:52.131 this big vocal leader. 11:52.131 --> 11:53.364 You have four seniors. 11:53.364 --> 11:55.731 You have two that have been with the program for four years. 11:55.731 --> 11:57.298 Does that hurt? 11:57.298 --> 11:59.298 Yeah, you know I think it hurts. 11:59.298 --> 12:01.298 I also think we probably don't have a true, 12:01.298 --> 12:03.298 true point guard at times, too, you know. 12:03.298 --> 12:05.298 Because Joe and Chris have done a great job of, 12:05.298 --> 12:06.898 you know, handling the ball. 12:06.898 --> 12:10.864 But you know they both had the ability to be combos and scoring 12:10.864 --> 12:12.864 guards, even coming from high school. 12:12.864 --> 12:13.864 But you know. 12:13.864 --> 12:15.864 So they've really improved in that area. 12:15.864 --> 12:19.098 But I think some of the natural tendencies where you're talking 12:19.098 --> 12:22.131 about a vocal guy, we don't have that vocal guy. 12:22.131 --> 12:25.198 And you know those are things that we've got to, 12:25.198 --> 12:26.198 you know. 12:26.198 --> 12:28.198 Hopefully through recruiting and everything else, 12:28.198 --> 12:30.198 we'll have a nice, vocal guy in the leadership role. 12:30.198 --> 12:33.031 But I don't want to take anything away from Chris and 12:33.031 --> 12:34.031 Joe. 12:34.031 --> 12:36.031 Those guys have won a lot of games. 12:36.031 --> 12:37.031 They've won a lot of games. 12:37.031 --> 12:38.031 They've been tremendous here. 12:38.031 --> 12:39.031 They graduated. 12:39.031 --> 12:41.198 They've been tremendous, you know, 12:41.198 --> 12:45.164 role models for the university and for the athletic department 12:45.164 --> 12:46.231 and that Memphis jersey. 12:46.231 --> 12:50.764 And they've also won a part of a class that's won a lot of games. 12:50.764 --> 12:53.464 You've been very successful with the high-low going inside to 12:53.464 --> 12:55.131 Austin, going inside to Shaq. 12:55.131 --> 12:56.131 And see, that's another thing. 12:56.131 --> 12:58.131 Not a lot of people talk about that. 12:58.131 --> 12:59.164 I've had more people, you know. 12:59.164 --> 13:01.164 Why don't we play high-low basketball? 13:01.164 --> 13:02.331 We do play high-low basketball! 13:02.331 --> 13:04.331 And that's what I'm talking about. 13:04.331 --> 13:05.331 That's the minority. 13:05.331 --> 13:07.798 And that's being uneducated as in terms of uneducated about 13:07.798 --> 13:08.798 understanding the game. 13:08.798 --> 13:12.431 Do you need to do a better job and stop listening to them? 13:12.431 --> 13:15.331 Could be but it's hard not to because it's everywhere. 13:15.331 --> 13:16.331 So.. 13:16.331 --> 13:17.331 And here's my thing. 13:17.331 --> 13:19.331 And I hope people respect thing. 13:19.331 --> 13:20.331 I don't, like, hide from it. 13:20.331 --> 13:21.331 Like I don't. 13:21.331 --> 13:22.364 I'm very transparent. 13:22.364 --> 13:23.498 I don't have a dialogue. 13:23.498 --> 13:25.131 Fans can be up. 13:25.131 --> 13:27.631 I can dial anything with media. 13:27.631 --> 13:28.631 I don't ever duck. 13:28.631 --> 13:29.631 And so I'm upfront about stuff. 13:29.631 --> 13:32.464 And I think, you know, as much as people get on to me about 13:32.464 --> 13:35.898 coaches speak about talking about other programs and other 13:35.898 --> 13:39.198 players and coaches, one thing I don't give coaches speak is 13:39.198 --> 13:42.064 about our team and about how I feel on this and that. 13:42.064 --> 13:44.698 And I think I've been extremely transparent, 13:44.698 --> 13:46.698 maybe as any head coach in the country about their team. 13:46.698 --> 13:48.698 Because I don't look at it as my team. 13:48.698 --> 13:49.698 Yep. 13:49.698 --> 13:51.698 It's Tiger nation's team and they deserve to be transparent. 13:51.698 --> 13:52.698 Shooting has been inconsistent. 13:52.698 --> 13:54.698 You even said you thought it would be better going in to the 13:54.698 --> 13:55.698 year. 13:55.698 --> 13:58.764 With that said, do you think G-W sags in the middle and makes 13:58.764 --> 14:01.031 you, forces you to take shots? 14:01.031 --> 14:03.031 They're gonna do the same thing that U-Conn did. 14:03.031 --> 14:05.031 They're gonna do the same thing that S-M-U has done. 14:05.031 --> 14:07.031 They're gonna do the same thing Cincinnati's done. 14:07.031 --> 14:09.031 We're gonna have to make threes. 14:09.031 --> 14:11.031 If we don't make some threes, it's just gonna suck the life. 14:11.031 --> 14:13.031 I mean they're gonna be sucked in. 14:13.031 --> 14:15.031 And if we don't make some threes, 14:15.031 --> 14:17.031 it makes it much more difficult. 14:17.031 --> 14:19.031 And it doesn't mean we have to shoot 20 threes or 30 threes. 14:19.031 --> 14:20.031 Like we beat Louisivlle. 14:20.031 --> 14:21.031 We only shot nine threes. 14:21.031 --> 14:22.031 We were six and nine. 14:22.031 --> 14:23.031 That's why we won the game. 14:23.031 --> 14:25.031 Lousiville was four and twenty-three. 14:25.031 --> 14:26.031 We don't have to shoot a bunch. 14:26.031 --> 14:28.031 But it gives them something to think about. 14:28.031 --> 14:29.031 You've got to make some. 14:29.031 --> 14:31.031 And Greg, we're not a selfish team. 14:31.031 --> 14:32.298 Not at all. 14:32.298 --> 14:38.931 We move the ball so well, our shots are open. 14:38.931 --> 14:40.931 And so I've had people tell me well, 14:40.931 --> 14:42.931 why don't you just tell them not to shoot threes. 14:42.931 --> 14:43.931 Again, you're not going to. 14:43.931 --> 14:44.931 Guys are open. 14:44.931 --> 14:46.931 You've got to give them confidence. 14:46.931 --> 14:48.931 And if they're open, they've got to make shots. 14:48.931 --> 14:50.931 I always say there's two grades -- how you guys did in the 14:50.931 --> 14:52.931 regular season, ultimately how you did in the post season. 14:52.931 --> 14:54.931 How would you grade out the regular season? 14:54.931 --> 14:55.931 I would.. 14:55.931 --> 14:57.931 Greg, our regular season -- a B, B as in boy. 14:57.931 --> 14:59.931 And I say that because we had a lot of five -- top 25 wins, 14:59.931 --> 15:02.164 swept Louisville and won the Old Spice preseason tournament in a 15:02.164 --> 15:04.164 new league in a much tougher league. 15:04.164 --> 15:07.664 And where U-Conn, Lousiville, Cincinnati had the advantage of 15:07.664 --> 15:09.864 being the Big East all those years to understand that this is 15:09.864 --> 15:10.864 our first year. 15:10.864 --> 15:13.564 So we had to grow and learn from it. 15:13.564 --> 15:17.298 Obviously I grade ourselves an F as in Frank in the conference 15:17.298 --> 15:18.298 tournament. 15:18.298 --> 15:20.964 And then the grade -- to be determined in the third season 15:20.964 --> 15:22.964 with the N-C-A-A tournament. 15:25.998 --> 15:30.798 What do you think this team has to do in the post season? 15:30.798 --> 15:31.798 You can talk about wins. 15:31.798 --> 15:35.798 You can talk about just play, how they play to call it 15:35.798 --> 15:36.798 successful. 15:36.798 --> 15:42.698 I think I put a lot on the regular season as being a 15:42.698 --> 15:43.698 success or not. 15:43.698 --> 15:46.398 Personally as a coach, I put a lot on the regular season. 15:46.398 --> 15:48.398 Like I said, I graded a B as in boy. 15:48.398 --> 15:50.798 But all signs say road to the Final Four. 15:50.798 --> 15:53.531 It doesn't say road to the regualr season. 15:53.531 --> 15:57.464 So everything's gonna be judged on what we do in the N-C-A-A 15:57.464 --> 15:58.464 tournament. 15:58.464 --> 15:59.464 And I understand that. 15:59.464 --> 16:00.464 I'm not ducking it. 16:00.464 --> 16:01.464 I'm not hiding from it. 16:01.464 --> 16:05.598 You and everybody else in the media, 16:05.598 --> 16:07.598 print, tv, radio, fans -- they're gonna. 16:07.598 --> 16:10.198 They said in the pre-season hey, if Memphis has got to get to the 16:10.198 --> 16:11.464 second weekend for us. 16:11.464 --> 16:13.664 When I say us, meaning to consider. 16:13.664 --> 16:15.664 I mean I heard you say it many times. 16:15.664 --> 16:17.798 Second weekend to consider successful. 16:17.798 --> 16:18.798 So I think if you ask.. 16:18.798 --> 16:21.464 If you're asking me, I feel our regular season has been 16:21.464 --> 16:22.464 successful. 16:22.464 --> 16:25.998 But I think Tiger nation, for them to say it's a success, 16:25.998 --> 16:27.998 we're gonna have to get to the second weekend. 16:27.998 --> 16:30.864 Do you think -- this seems like it's an obvious answer to this 16:30.864 --> 16:33.698 question -- playing in the American has prepared you 16:33.698 --> 16:34.698 better? 16:34.698 --> 16:35.698 One-hundred percent. 16:35.698 --> 16:39.431 We're just a better team because of the better competition we 16:39.431 --> 16:41.064 play night-in, night-out. 16:41.064 --> 16:43.798 And again, I'm a huge fan of Conference U-S-A. 16:43.798 --> 16:45.798 And there were some really good teams. 16:45.798 --> 16:47.998 But the Cincinnatis, the Connecticuts, 16:47.998 --> 16:49.998 the Louisvilles, the S-M-Us now. 16:49.998 --> 16:51.998 I mean, you know, even, you know, 16:51.998 --> 16:53.998 we've played a heck of a league. 16:53.998 --> 16:56.998 And I think that's going to better prepare us going to the 16:56.998 --> 16:57.998 N-C-A-A tournament. 16:57.998 --> 17:00.098 We also got to get the job done tomorrow. 17:00.098 --> 17:01.098 Without question. 17:01.098 --> 17:03.098 Athlete for athlete, you're as good as anybody. 17:03.098 --> 17:04.098 Absolutely. 17:04.098 --> 17:06.098 The phsyicality of this team is not quite there. 17:06.098 --> 17:08.098 You're not playing a real physical team in G-W. 17:08.098 --> 17:10.098 If you win or Virginia wins, you're not playing a real 17:10.098 --> 19:17.831 --> 19:23.831 So today, we're gonna work on the next set of fundamental 19:26.798 --> 19:29.231 disciplines of good golf made easy. 19:29.231 --> 19:32.398 We're gonna work on three things today and that is measuring 19:32.398 --> 19:35.164 yourself to the ball, the alignment that you need to 19:35.164 --> 19:37.264 possess in the game of golf and, as well, 19:37.264 --> 19:40.131 the ball position, also known as where do you play the ball 19:40.131 --> 19:41.431 between your feet. 19:41.431 --> 19:45.098 So I'll get started with a down the line view of. 19:45.098 --> 19:47.464 The question that I get asked all of the time is how far 19:47.464 --> 19:48.898 should I set up from the ball? 19:48.898 --> 19:50.898 And what I want to display to you here, 19:50.898 --> 19:53.864 I've got a six iron in my right hand and I've got a driver in my 19:53.864 --> 19:54.864 left hand. 19:54.864 --> 19:56.864 And I've got two golf balls down here. 19:56.864 --> 20:00.131 And when I establish a set up with the six iron right there 20:00.131 --> 20:05.198 and a driver right here, what you'll notice is that these two 20:05.198 --> 20:08.231 golf balls on the ground are dramatically different in 20:08.231 --> 20:10.698 distances that I am away from the ball. 20:10.698 --> 20:13.731 The constant that you see when you look down the line, 20:13.731 --> 20:17.764 and I'm just gonna mimic a grip here is.. 20:17.764 --> 20:21.198 The constant is the distance between the end of the grip and 20:21.198 --> 20:22.664 the front line on my thighs. 20:22.664 --> 20:25.598 So after you made your athletic set up and you let your arms 20:25.598 --> 20:28.698 hang from your shoulder, you let the club tell you where it wants 20:28.698 --> 20:33.731 to rest when the bottom of the club is sold flat on the ground. 20:33.731 --> 20:34.998 This is the constant. 20:34.998 --> 20:36.698 Where do I set up for my hands? 20:36.698 --> 20:40.398 You let the club tell you how far you are away from the ball. 20:40.398 --> 20:44.298 So for fundamental alignment , I'm gonna ask you to visualize a 20:44.298 --> 20:45.598 railroad track. 20:45.598 --> 20:47.464 Two parallel lines. 20:47.464 --> 20:50.331 And so that when you set up the ball, 20:50.331 --> 20:52.964 the club face, the bottom of the club face, 20:52.964 --> 20:56.298 you always want to aim with the bottom scoring line. 20:56.298 --> 20:59.898 If you can see that that's aimed directly perpendicular to your 20:59.898 --> 21:04.964 line, once I set up, I've got these alignment rods on the 21:04.964 --> 21:10.231 ground 21:24.231 --> 21:26.798 knees, hips and shoulders. 21:26.798 --> 21:31.264 And if I can get my body set up in correct alignments, 21:31.264 --> 21:35.398 that's a great start to good golf made easy. 21:35.398 --> 21:39.598 Greg, why don't you come and show us a little bit? 21:39.598 --> 21:43.398 So he's gonna set up to the ball in his great stance. 21:43.398 --> 21:44.398 His arms are hanging. 22:05.998 --> 22:09.631 And as an important note for you, 22:09.631 --> 22:13.531 I would like to really sort of drive home that when you measure 22:13.531 --> 22:17.931 yourself the distance away form the ball and where do you play 22:17.931 --> 22:20.931 the ball between your feet, you could have the greatest swing in 22:20.931 --> 22:21.931 the world. 22:21.931 --> 22:23.931 But if you're not measured correctly, 22:23.931 --> 22:26.531 you're not gonna strike it in the sweet spot of the club. 22:26.531 --> 22:29.631 So let's go over ball position just for a minute. 22:29.631 --> 22:32.164 I've got two clubs in my hand -- a driver, 22:32.164 --> 22:34.931 which is the longest club in the bag and I've got a six iron, 22:34.931 --> 22:36.998 sort of a middle of the road club. 22:36.998 --> 22:39.764 And what I'd like to illustrate over here is that with the 22:39.764 --> 22:42.298 driver, the longest club in the bag, 22:42.298 --> 22:44.631 I'm gonna play the ball forward in my stance, 22:44.631 --> 22:46.631 just off the in step on the left heel. 22:46.631 --> 22:51.064 Some players even play it in step of the arch of my left foot 22:51.064 --> 22:52.531 or front foot. 22:52.531 --> 22:56.931 With the six iron, because obviously it's a shorter club. 22:56.931 --> 22:58.931 So I'm gonna have to get closer. 22:58.931 --> 23:02.464 But also in ball position, where between my feet, 23:02.464 --> 23:05.498 it's much closer to the center of my stance. 23:05.498 --> 23:09.831 It's about half way between my belt buckle and inside of my 23:09.831 --> 23:11.298 left foot. 23:11.298 --> 23:13.431 Every club has a different length, 23:13.431 --> 23:16.298 which means that we're different distance away from the ball. 23:16.298 --> 23:21.264 And also, a good rule of thumb is just to know that the longest 23:21.264 --> 23:24.098 club in the bag, the driver, the fairway metals, 23:24.098 --> 23:26.798 we play the farthest forward in our stance. 23:26.798 --> 23:28.798 And as we get in to the shorter clubs, 23:28.798 --> 23:30.664 those get closer to center. 23:30.664 --> 23:34.364 For fundamental shots, I'm gonna play everything from the center 23:34.364 --> 23:36.198 of my stance, forward. 23:36.198 --> 23:38.598 So Greg, let's come in and have you illustrate. 23:38.598 --> 23:43.698 We'll start with the driver on the ball position. 23:43.698 --> 23:48.964 So we've got it set up for ya. 23:48.964 --> 23:51.398 Will you set up right. 23:51.398 --> 23:53.031 Inside the arch, you said? 23:53.031 --> 23:54.031 Yes sir. 23:54.031 --> 23:55.631 Okay. 23:55.631 --> 23:57.131 Very good. 23:57.131 --> 23:59.431 You could probably even move your feet a little bit to the 23:59.431 --> 24:01.798 right to play the ball a little bit closer to the front of your 24:01.798 --> 24:02.798 stance. 24:02.798 --> 24:03.798 Okay. 24:03.798 --> 24:04.798 There you go. 24:04.798 --> 24:07.431 That's a great position with driver. 24:07.431 --> 24:10.231 Now let's do the six iron. 24:10.231 --> 24:12.464 Obviously again, you'll have to get closer to the ball because 24:12.464 --> 24:13.464 the shorter club. 24:13.464 --> 24:15.498 And we're gonna play the ball closer to the middle of the 24:15.498 --> 24:16.998 stance. 24:16.998 --> 24:20.931 So each club in the bag has you set up uniquely a little bit 24:20.931 --> 24:21.931 different. 24:21.931 --> 24:22.931 Measure yourself. 24:22.931 --> 24:24.931 Uniquely a little bit different. 24:24.931 --> 24:26.931 So now you see he's got it about half way in the center. 24:26.931 --> 24:29.431 He's letting his hands hang from his shoulders, 24:29.431 --> 24:32.364 that correct distance away from the front line of the thighs. 24:32.364 --> 24:33.364 Greg, you're ready to go. 24:33.364 --> 24:35.931 So with the six iron, I've got the ball played about half way 24:35.931 --> 24:38.964 between the belt buckle and my left foot. 24:38.964 --> 24:43.098 Everything as a fundamental rule to know is that the driver, 24:43.098 --> 24:45.098 the longets club, the fairway metals, 24:45.098 --> 24:47.364 are played the furthest forward in my stance. 24:47.364 --> 24:49.431 As I get in to my shorter clubs, my six irons, 24:49.431 --> 24:52.831 about half way between belt buckle and left foot. 24:52.831 --> 24:54.831 And the shortest clubs, the wedges, 24:54.831 --> 24:55.831 are played close to center. 24:55.831 --> 24:57.831 But generally, everything's played forward of center. 24:57.831 --> 25:01.131 So now you know a bit about where to play the ball between 25:01.131 --> 25:05.564 your feet, ball position and how to measure yourself to the ball. 25:05.564 --> 25:07.564 Another great lesson from Greg King. 25:07.564 --> 25:09.564 Hey, March Madness is
