- Ventriloquism is my passion. Ventriloquism is one of the greatest things that I know of on this planet. It's a pure art. It makes people laugh. You know, you see a little puppet come on, you have to laugh. - Well, well, well, well, they're all here. - Look who it is, boys and girls, it's Dizzy, the dodo. - Yep. - Today we're at Far West Kidz Fest. So I first developed my ventriloquist interest back in middle school. I saw Jeff Dunham's "Spark of insanity" DVD. That's basically what got me into the art. It taught me, "Hey, you can make a living at this." And ever since then, I started deep diving into the old timey ventriloquists, and adapted my style to be a lot like theirs. - Not a lot of pressure. It just means I don't have any band mates to argue with. (laughing) - [Puppet] You got me. - Hold on. So ventriloquism is not a dying art. It's a variety show, basically, a one-man variety show.
