- I don't know that anyone who created this 25 years ago thought we'd still be doing it.
(soft upbeat music) This is our 25th annual, we're so excited.
Both K9 and human will take off and do the 5K.
For those who are runners, it's a race.
We've got the time clock which we borrow from Grandma's Marathon every year.
We have people of all skill levels that come and either walk, run, some just hang out with us.
And they'll take the Osaugie Trail, then they come back and they end in the same spot.
All the proceeds from this event go to all of our lost, homeless and abandoned animals at our shelter.
All the funds here help us get them vetted, feed them every day, make sure they're clean and healthy and ready for an adoption and to get into a nice new home.
