Today's production was White Christmas, Irving Berlin's classic. And today, this was the musical adaptation to it. Captain Bob Wallace and Private Phil Davis I was the producer. I helped found Crossroads Ministry. It came in very impromptu, what was going to be just this little thing turned out to be a very successful ministry here at St Matthew's Lutheran Church here in Esko. It was student driven, and they did it all. They were here all summer, making phone calls to different companies, trying to get everything lined up. So they spent hours here trying to get it going. And Jonie! Judy! So I just remember, like Drew coming up to me and was like, I'm starting this thing at St. Matthews and we're going to put on a musical. And he, like, kind of made it come to life And I just knew, like, I just, like, love all the people in theater. So I obviously was like, of course I want to do it. It just felt great. Cause it's people in your community coming together to put on a show for the community. Fellas, I got a Million Dollar proposition for ya! When you see the final result, you know the the audience stands up in the end and you feel that you've made an impact. And to see the joys and the tears even after singing Silent Night together, you know, it's really--it impacts you and you know that we've given it all to the glory of God. The Slice, from WDSE WRPT.
