(lively fiddle music) - [Alby] Some neighbors and I heard about the Love Your Block grant program, and decided to put one together.
So, we got awarded $500, and we used that to buy food, and to buy kids activities, and to pay our musicians, which live right in our neighborhood.
And then we also did Get To Know Your Neighbor Bingo, which was a really fun way to start conversations, and people would ask each other questions and if the question was applicable to them, like, "Are you retired," then they wrote that person's name down.
And we had a great turnout, and I'm really proud that Duluth sponsored this Love Your Block party.
