And the name seqacib literally means if you translate it, it means raising hands.
I applied that to my students and use that as the metaphor to lift them up.
I believe in the inherent strength.
And I believe in the inherent wisdom of my students.
But I also believe in the transformative power of education.
My greatest joy is reminding my students that they are the prayers of our ancestors and that they may have forgotten, but they're strong and they are intelligent.
I'm just there to remind them that they're brilliant.
