My name is Lorenza And I come from Oaxaca. We have customs and celebrations. On Day of the Dead, everyone goes to another town to shop. Flowers, candles, fruit. I learned to value the ancestors. And open my door to all who have died. We have the tradition of bread for the dead. And we decorate it with little faces. They are the sign of the bread for the dead. My mom likes the big breads. "You have to put out four breads, daughter." "Because others accompany me" "And they can take some back with them" The arrival of Day of the Dead is very important. Most of all, for uniting the family Knowing you're going to eat a lot. Honoring your roots, your history. It's part of your identity Why do I follow the tradition?
