While you were distance learning from home, your brain was working overtime to process your new classroom, your new schedule, and even a few unlikely classmates. Your exceptional brain deserves a rest and a safe space. A safe space is easy to create. It could be the corner of your room, under a blanket, or simply closing your eyes. In your safe space begin calming your brain by taking three slow and controlled deep breaths.
