WE TOOK PICTURES YESTERDAY AT

SWEET GEORGIA FARM, AND I'LL BE

WORKING FROM TOE TOES, BECAUSE

WE'RE NOT THERE.

THEY HAVE IS A WONDERFUL GOAT

FARM, SO I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO

GETTING STARTED.

LET'S GO.

BEGINNING ARTIST, THAT'S WHAT

I LIKE TO SNEAK UP ON IT, LITTLE

BY LITTLE, PAINTING EVERYTHING

EXCEPT THE TREE, AND ALL OF A

WITH A LITTLE BIT OF WARM

UNDERPAINTING.

THIS IS A TRADITIONAL OIL PAINT,

IT'S NOT THE WATER SOLUBLE

VARIETY, THOUGH I'VE USED THAT.

SOMETIMES THE REAL VARIETY IS

 

THEY ALWAYS LEAD FROM SOMEWHERE

2 SOMEWHERE.

I LIKE TO THINK I'M HEADING IN A

DIRECTION HOPEFULLY THE RIGHT

DIRECTION, AND THE THE BRIDGE

ECHOS THAT SENTIMENT.

JUST A BIG CHUNK.

KIND OF LIKE IF YOU'RE CUTTING

SOMETHING OUT OF CONSTRUCTION

PAPER WITH A LITTLE BIT MORE

CONCERN FOR EDGES AND COLOR.

TODAY IT'S TIME FOR TRUE

CONFESSIONS.

I'M HERE IN THE STUDIO, AND

HONESTLY, NOT EVERY DAY I WAKE

UP READY TO TACKLE THE WORLD AND

PAINT A BEAUTIFUL PAINTING.

IT'S KIND OF A RAINY DAY, AND

I'M KIND OF FEELING THAT MYSELF.

AND LOOKING AROUND, WHAT CAN I

PAINT, WHAT'S GOING TO REALLILY

INSPIRE ME, AND I KNOW THE

ANSWER.

I HAVE TO FINISH MY COFFEE, GET

IN MY TRUCK AND GO FOR A RIDE.

THIS IS REALLY ONE OF MY

FAVORITE THINGS TO DO, JUST GET

IN THE CAR AND GO AIMLESSLY.

PLYMOUTH ALWAYS GIVES ME GOOD

PAINTINGS.

LONG DID IT TAKE YOU TO PAINT

WE'VE GOT TWO OR THREE HOURS

INTO THIS ALREADY, AND I HAVEN'T
