APPRAISER: This is what we call a dog collar, and they were popularized by Princess Alexandra, who later became Queen Alexandra of Great Britain.
There's multiple strands of pearls, and these are probably natural pearls.
And then they have these spacers, which are platinum and diamond, and they're set with old-European-cut diamonds.
It probably dates to about the 1890s or 1900.
They might even be a slightly bit later, maybe as, as late as 1905.
It's not marked, so we don't know exactly where it's from, but it's probably European in origin.
If this came into auction, we would probably estimate it between $3,000 and $5,000.
