GUEST: Well, I have a Harrison
Fisher, um, watercolor, I think.
APPRAISER: The signature
says Harrison Fisher.
GUEST: Mm-hmm.
APPRAISER: This is purporting to
be the cover of Ladies' Home
Journal, November 1909. I do
think
that this is a copy after
Fisher. It... And it really just
has a decorative value of about
$200.
GUEST: Right. I
paid five dollars.
APPRAISER: Well, you're already
ahead! (laughing) So, yeah. But
if it were an
actual Harrison Fisher
watercolor, the value would
probably be more like $3,000 to
$5,000.
GUEST: Okay.
